Soft, rose pedal skin claws at my arm, A voice alerts me of its presence, I can see a man walking towards me, His walks choppy like the waters of the ocean during a typhoon.
The voice is comforting to my body’s senses, Chills traverse my spine, The hair on my neck stands, Muscles like boulders grab at my shoulders.
John tells me I’m calm, He tells me everything is all right, I

She takes a step into the grass, The robins sing, The wind whispers in her ear, Reminding her of good things.
Tears stream down her face, The grass tries to catch them, The owl turns it’s head, She is gone.
The praying mantis bows before her, She looks up to the sky, The gray clouds dissolve in her eyes, The trees worship her.
The ground beneath her feet turns moist, Roses grow there, She picks one out of the ground and smiles, Ground hogs rise out of their holes.
